Delta Law LLC – Communications & Attorney-Client Privilege Policy

Purpose This policy clarifies the legal effect of communications sent to attorneys and employees of Delta Law LLC through email, text messages, telephone messaging, social media platforms, or other electronic communication channels.

Policy Statement Communications directed to attorneys or employees of Delta Law LLC may be treated as confidential and subject to attorney-client privilege where applicable. However, such communications alone do not create a binding contract, legal representation, or a formal business relationship with Delta Law LLC.

No Formation of Attorney-Client Relationship Sending an email, text message, social media message, or other electronic communication to Delta Law LLC, its attorneys, or employees does not establish an attorney-client relationship. No legal representation will arise solely from the transmission of information, documents, or inquiries.

No Contractual Obligation Electronic communications sent to Delta Law LLC do not create a legally binding agreement, contract, or obligation between the sender and Delta Law LLC.

Requirement for Express Consent and Acknowledgment An attorney-client relationship and any related professional obligations will arise only when all of the following conditions are met:

  1. Delta Law LLC provides express consent to represent the potential client.
  2. The potential client receives and acknowledges such consent from Delta Law LLC.
  3. Any required engagement documentation, retention agreement, or representation agreement is executed by both parties, where applicable.

Until these steps occur, Delta Law LLC and its attorneys have no duty to provide legal services, advice, or representation regarding the communication received.

Internal and External Communications All employees and attorneys of Delta Law LLC must ensure that communications with prospective clients clearly reflect this policy when responding to unsolicited messages or inquiries.

Reservation of Rights Delta Law LLC reserves the right to decline representation for any reason permitted by law and assumes no obligation to review, respond to, or act upon communications received prior to the establishment of a formal attorney-client relationship.

Effective Date This policy is effective immediately and applies to all electronic communications directed to attorneys and employees of Delta Law LLC.
